30 Lives, 30 Second Chances.

We urgently need your help!

In the past 14 days, we have taken in over 30 animals from the most dire cases from parvovirus-stricken puppies, to cats rescued from hoarding, to a collapsed Husky too weak to stand, to the animals given no hope; a blind and deaf kitten, a paralyzed puppy... we take them all. We saved kittens tied to fences, pulled dogs from euthanasia lists, and responded to emergencies throughout NYC. Every case is an urgent fight for life.

But with every rescue comes staggering medical expenses. Our shelters are full, our bills are growing, and the need for support has never been more urgent.

Please help us raise the critical funds we need to go on.

NYC Second Chance Rescue

About the Organization

In 2009, NYC Second Chance Rescue began as a small dream, founded on the firm belief that all animals deserve love and care, and that no animal should ever be subjected to abuse, neglect or homelessness. All proceeds go directly to the animals, and to date, we have relied solely on donations from loyal supporters. Our mission is to offer a second chance to those animals less fortunate — those with critical medical, emotional or behavioral issues.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

We are beyond grateful for the incredible outpouring of love and support we’ve received for our 30 babies.

When we launched this campaign, the rescues had already been saved, pulled from the brink, rushed to hospitals, and given a fighting chance. But we couldn’t do it alone. Your generosity is what makes it possible for us to continue their medical treatment, cover their mounting hospital bills, and prepare them for brighter tomorrows.

From parvovirus puppies and cats rescued from hoarding, to a collapsed Husky who can now stand again, a blind and deaf kitten, and a paralyzed puppy learning what love feels like — each one is alive today because you chose to care.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. You are the reason we can keep saying yes when others say no.

We’re now about $9,000 away from reaching our goal, please continue to share our plea with your friends and community. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to covering the costs of these lifesaving rescues.

    Thank you again,
    NYC Second Chance Rescue
