Cat almost buried alive!

Urgent help needed for Ember!

The owners were going to bury her. Alive. But they decided since "she was still breathing that wasn't the best thing to do" and brought her into a local vet hospital.

She was still breathing.

A local vet clinic called us in disbelief — she was still alive, gasping faintly, clinging to the smallest thread of life.

So SNARR stepped in — because even when the world gives up, we don't.

This fragile little soul is now fighting for her life in critical care. She's in shock, with what appears to be severe head trauma. She's barely conscious, but she's still fighting.

Her will to live is undeniable.

Her spirit — unbreakable.

That tiny flicker of life… that spark of hope… it’s why we named her Ember

Our motto at SNARR has always been Dum Spiro Spero — “While I Breathe, I Hope.”

And this tiny warrior is the living, breathing embodiment of that.

The veterinary team is doing everything possible; IV fluids, oxygen, pain control, warming support, bloodwork, X-rays, and round-the-clock monitoring. If she makes it through this critical period, she will need surgery to remove a damaged eye and continued medical care.

We see a spark in her; that flicker of hope that says don’t stop fighting.

But we can’t do it alone.

💔 Please help us fight for her life.

Your donations are what allow us to say “yes” to animals like her when everyone else says no.

Even the smallest gift can mean the difference between life and death for this beautiful soul who was almost buried alive.

Dum Spiro Spero. While she breathes, we hope.

And we’ll keep fighting for her, as long as she keeps fighting too.
