All lives matter help us help them!

We routinely save sick, injured and senior animals, who in many cases are last ones left on the shelter's euthanasia list. We provide our cats and dogs with the finest medical care and place them in foster homes while looking for forever families. Each year we rescue over 100 wonderful animals. Ready for Rescue is 100% volunteer and every dollar goes to the care of our animals. Ready for Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit.

Campaign Details

Every year Ready for Rescue saves lives of animals who are often overlooked because of the cost of the care they so desperately need. We believe that every life matters. Below are just a few examples of animals we have saved in 2017. Animals that would been put down if not for donors like you. We ask you to please donate and help us continue our mission to save lives!

Blossom

An adorable 14 week old kitten who had a terrible degloving injury. In order to save his life Blossom's tail needed to be amputated. He is now a happy healthy little kitten ready for his forever home! Cost to save Blossom $1,500

Brownie (aka Gentle Ben)

Gentle Ben is a big fella with an even bigger heart! When brought to the city shelter he had several tumors, sending him straight to the kill list. We swooped in to save this amazing boy! After several surgeries to remove the (benign) tumors Ben is doing great! He's all ready to enjoy his senior years in a forever home! Cost to save Ben $4,500

Mr. Tux (aka Neptune)

This handsome fella is another poor kitty with a degloving injury to his back paw. Fortunately for Mr. Tux our amazing vets were able to save his paw! It took many months of medical care and careful observation but Mr. Tux has made a full recovery! He is now happily living his life in a safe and wonderful forever home! Cost to save Mr. Tux $3,000

Agatha

This beautiful girl makes you smile the moment you lay eyes on her! She found herself on the kill list at the city shelter due to a mammary tumor. We whisked her away and to our amazing team of veterinarians. We found out Aggie also had a tumor on her lung and breathed a sign of relief when biopsies found both of these tumors to be benign! Aggie is now happy and healthy and ready for her forever home! Cost to save Agatha $5,000

These are just a few of the over 100 animals we have saved in 2017 alone. But we can't continue to save these amazing cats & dogs without your help. We a run 100% on donations and volunteers. Every dollar donated goes directly to the care of our animals. Please donate today.
