Sunshine & Summer Smiles 2025

Picture a grey muzzle and a wagging tail—an old soul just waiting for a second chance. The Grey Muzzle Organization's Sunshine & Summer Smiles campaign (August 19 - 29) hopes to raise $30,000 to give senior dogs the care they deserve. These sweet pups may have a few more naps than zoomies in them, but their hearts are full of love. With your help, funding can give them something to smile about!

Let's fill their summer with belly rubs, sunshine, and healthy smiles. Every dollar will be matched up to $30K by The Cook Family in honor of their senior pup, Story, to help older dogs' last years...become their best years!

Jill has dedicated her life to senior dogs, bully breeds,  and pets with special needs. She recently visited Little  Shelter Animal Rescue—a Grey Muzzle grantee on  Long Island—to capture heartwarming stories of senior dogs whose lives have been transformed thanks to your support.

Watch for her inspiring videos on our social media, and check back here often—we’ll be posting them throughout the campaign!
