Campaign Details
There are many expenses involved in rescuing kittens (and adult cats when help is needed).
Babies need Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR), heating pads and accurate scales to monitor their weight daily.
When they are at 4 weeks they need a high quality soft food combined with KMR. Then in a week or so, a dry kibble is added to their diet. Cause 4 Cats provides Royal Canin Mother & Babycat to give the kittens a healthy start, and bolster the ones who have not had a proper, nutritious diet.
Veterinary care is usually necessary for rescued kittens. Eye infections, upper respiratory infections, ear mites and diarrhea are commonplace. Kittens are brought to us with skin infections, flea infestations and injuries, including broken legs, lacerations and severe eye damage. Every year expenses for vet visits and medications amount to thousands of dollars.
Mothers and kittens are dewormed, vaccinated and sterilized at the appropriate time.
This fundraiser's goal is a modest amount to help us continue caring for the helpless, homeless little kittens who so desperately need rescue.
We know we can count on you to donate today to support our efforts. Plus, you can do even more by fundraising for this campaign! We appreciate your help tremendously!

About the Organization
C4C's focus is on helping kittens with stray or feral mothers. When kittens are found, we support the finder with help to care for kittens, or place them in one of our foster homes, if available. When kittens are tame & old enough, we vaccinate, sterilize, and find homes for them. We also assist with sterilizing tame mother cats & finding them a home. Feral cats are returned to area where trapped after they are spayed & vaccinated.
