Campaign Details

Every day (and night), callers and texters receive emotional support from dedicated volunteers. Your gift makes that possible by funding the training and resources they need to save lives. Please help us continue to support people in need and meet the growing demand for our services by making a gift today.

With your gift...

  • You can help double the number of suicide prevention workshops we deliver to youth, elders, teachers, and community group leaders.
  • You can help provide comfort to more suicide loss survivors through our SafePlace meetings.
  • You can help train more volunteers, answer more helpline calls, and reach youth in need through our new texting service.
  • You can help grow key partnerships with the MBTA and City of Boston to increase awareness of suicide risk and reduce its stigma.

Samaritans' Mission is to reduce the incidence of suicide by alleviating despair, isolation, distress, and suicidal feelings among individuals in our community, 24 hours a day; to educate the public about suicide prevention. We accomplish this through services that emphasize confidential, non-judgmental, and compassionate listening.

If you are struggling, call or text our statewide Crisis Helpline at 877-870-HOPE (4673). We are available 24/7.
