Campaign Details
Our Yadi, as she liked to be called by her friends and family, was an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister, and fitness fan. Yadi loved cooking healthy meals for friends and family, and she inspired many of us with her love of fitness!
Yadi's story began on January 19, 1987, the middle child to Doris and Benito and was born in Agua Dulce, Veracruz. Yadi was still very young when she moved to the US with her parents, older sister Yuridia, and younger brother Benito in October of 1994. Once in the US, her family resided in Santa Cruz, CA. In 2009 Yadira married Max Haueter, and in July 2010, their daughter Riley was born. In April 2016, Max and Yadi had their son James.
Yadi had an incredible work ethic, and thrived in very physical jobs where she could be always moving. She truly loved providing for her chilren. She volunteered in everyday community life and our mountain school, serving lunches, helping teachers, and watching children play during recess.
Her sudden car accident came as a real shock to her community, which is now banding together to provide love and support to her family and two young children. Consider donating to Yadi's campaign to help ease future child care and education expenses for the family.
Yadira will always be remembered for her warmth and generosity, her incredible smile and infectious laugh, her brilliance and unwavering optimism, and her great mother's heart. She set an example of courage and compassion that inspired everyone who knew her. God Speed, Yadi– Heaven only knows what's in store for you next!
