Urgent Care for Mom & Puppies!

We urgently need your help!

9 puppies are fighting for their lives and we are begging for your help!

A sweet mother dog was found doing a wonderful job keeping her 9 puppies alive in a Texas forest after being abandoned. A good Samaritan took them to the shelter, hoping they would receive help. SNARR answered that plea for help and rescued all 9 puppies and their mother, whom we named Gypsy. Unfortunately... they have now contracted the distemper virus!

This is awful. Please help save these puppies and their mom.

The spinal tap alone is $950 per puppy!

Texas shelters are overcrowded and puppies are susceptible to the many deadly illnesses there. Tragically, our puppies had contracted the devastating distemper virus while in the shelter. We are heartbroken to share that puppy Brownie didn’t make it despite receiving critical care hospitalization for 2 days. The odds are not in a puppy’s favor once they contract distemper, but we always fight for the underdog. We won’t allow them to suffer if they deteriorate to the point of all hope being lost, but they deserve a chance to know happy lives. We have pulled many distemper puppies through that now live wonderful lives with families who cherish them. There are many survivor stories and these puppies deserve every treatment available to increase their odds of beating this virus!

We have spent thousands of dollars on vetting thus far. Today Scruffy and Chocolate underwent a spinal tap treatment in hopes that it saves their life, as they were the most critical.

There is a high chance that the other 6 puppies will deteriorate further and would benefit from this procedure, as well.

We cannot do this without help. No donation is too small and every amount is appreciated!

Sadly, despite our best efforts. we only have 1 surviving puppy and her momma. Unfortunately, the other puppies crossed the rainbow bridge. We really appreciate all your generous contributions to help us try to save these dogs!

Our fosters are nursing these sweet puppies around the clock and desperately trying to save them! Unfortunately due to this deadly disease, more puppies continue to get sick and need spinal tap treatments. We are hoping to nurse them back to healthier days. This is why we fight so hard. Every life matters!

We greatly appreciate all the donations and support from our SNARR family and couldn't do any of this work without you, but we're still way short of our goal! This medical care is very expensive. We need to ask one more favor of you. Please share our campaign with anyone else you think might want to help too. That's how we can move closer to our goal.

    XOXO,

    SNARR Northeast
