Campaign Details
The Lake Houston Area has proven that when disaster strikes, our sense of community sees us through. $3 million was raised and distributed to over 1,000 families after Hurricane Harvey. Overall last year, HAAM served 16,123 unique individuals. That need doesn't go away after all of our homes are rebuilt. For families on the edge of instability or in crisis, any unexpected event such as an illness or cut in work hours can represent a catastrophe.
HAAM is there for each and every one of those families. Our services provide a stop gap to meet immediate needs, and are also designed to rebuild a family's overall financial stability. GED and ESL classes, certification programs, financial and nutritional literacy classes, job preparation and hiring events, health screenings and services like vaccines and mammograms, and behavioral health services are just a few of the ways HAAM helps.
Fall Ball is a fun way to join the community of giving. We need to meet or exceed our goal of $15,000 this year. Let's celebrate our home team and fill the grid with messages of hope from all around Lake Houston!
