Covered in ticks, shot and more!

We urgently need your help!

We are working to get two momma German Shepherd mutts and their four puppies saved and healthy. They were found in a corn field. They are skinny and covered in fleas and ticks. Look at their paws! OMG! Those poor things...

They are very dehydrated and anemic. How could we not help them? Also, one of the moms may have been shot in the leg. There's a big hole. Now they're at our vet in San Clemente, CA, so we can get them all better.

They are receiving antibiotics, fluids and lots of love. The ticks are a very slow process to remove. It's just so hard (and disgusting) to even look at these poor fur kids covered in ticks.

Can you please help us?

About the Organization

OC Shelter Partners is a privately funded 501c3 charity committed to assisting good pet owners so they can keep their pets. We do this by offering resources such as spay and neuter assistance, veterinary help, food, leashes and collars, flea treatment, and training. When it is evident that it is impossible for a pet to stay in a home, we work with our pre-approved network of rescue partners to get the pet into a rescue.

Both momma's are healthy! They have been spayed and getting some touch up on their manners with the amazing trainers at Your Dog Trainer.

The puppies are in a foster home learning puppy manners. They will be altered and go up for adoption in three weeks. Look at these sweeties!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming to our rescue to help the pack! Thanks to you and so many other generous animal lovers, we are able to give them the care they need to quickly get them better and adopted.

Here's a quick update and we'll get you more information and photos when we have them.

The puppies are doing much better and are now recovering in foster homes. No tick borne illnesses, miraculously. The mommas are doing better too, but are still a little anemic and underweight, so they're staying at the vet for a little longer to fatten up and get spayed.

    Thanks again and stay tuned...

    Warm regards,
    Liz @ OC Shelter Partners
