We have reached 60% of our goal

Plans for several rescued wild horses at our Oklahoma sanctuary have fallen through. Despite setbacks with planned homing and rewilding leaving too many on the property, Salvation is resilient and committed to its mission. Temporary foster care in Kansas at $125 a month per horse has been arranged and we are aiming to have the most relocated by mid-August. Salvation is also addressing needs like foot trims, which require sedation costing around $300 per horse. We are determined to regroup and adapt in the face of challenges highlighting our ongoing dedication to the well-being of the horses. All donations are welcome to help with cost.

Salvation Wild Mustang Sanctuary

About the Organization

Our Mission is to save at risk Wild Horses and Burros rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) from being sent to slaughter pipeline. Countless wild horses and burros are being sold to auctions or kill pens awaiting their fate from the failing governmental adoption program. There are 73,520 Wild Horses and Burros in USA (58,952 wild horses and 14,568 burros) that have lost their freedom, most stuck in filthy, diseased feedlots.
