Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons

About the Organization

We are a 501(c)3 wildlife rescue, charity organization, since 2012 and have rescued and rehabbed over 1500 critically injuried native turtles. Nesting season we get inundated with injuries due to our females in search of a safe place to lay her eggs. We also get boat propeller injuries this time of year as the boating season just begins. Turtles hibernate six months out of the year, and spring is when they become active and hatchlings leave their nest.
