Hockey for Habitat

Hey Friends,

We've entered the Wood County Hockey for Habitat Tournament to help build decent, affordable homes, for our neighbors in need.

Here's the thing... we need to raise $$$ so we can draft a Professional Player to our team.

Your gift is the key.  The team that raises the most, gets the first pick.  We need to be that team!

Please, donate today!

Your gift assists families in need and helps us to earn the best pick in the draft.

Let's do it!

Campaign Details

Habitat for Humanity of Wood County, Ohio is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, an ecumenical Christian housing 501c3 nonprofit organization.

Our vision is a county - and a world - where everyone has a decent place to live.

With the help of generous supporters like you, we transform lives and communities by bringing people together to build quality, affordable homes for and with families in need.

Habitat homes are sold to people in need at cost with no-interest or low-interest subsidized mortgages.

Volunteers provide most of the labor, while individual and corporate donors provide money and materials.  Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others.  Their mortgage payments are used to build more houses in Wood County.

You can help someone in need become a homeowner.

Here's what your gift can do:

$15 buys one box of screws

$25 buys one roll of insulation

$50 provides enough nails to build one home

$100 buys a kitchen sink

$150 buys a front door

$200 buys a toilet

Please give today!  No gift is too big or too small.

Together we can strengthen our community through affordable home ownership.
