What is the MOSS Annual Days of Giving?

The Annual Days of Giving directly supports Mother of Sorrows students. Family, friends, coworkers and businesses have an opportunity to donate money directly to Mother of Sorrows School to help our efforts to support "outside the classroom" value-added programs and a continued support of essential technology.

When does the MOSS Annual Days of Giving take place?

This event will take place during Catholic Schools Week. The link to contribute opens on January 26th at 12:01 am and will remain open until February 1st.

What is the fundraising goal?

Our goal is to raise $20,000. We understand that everyone’s financial situation is different, so please contribute what you can. Donations, of any size, are greatly appreciated.

What will the funds be used for?

All money raised will continue our commitment for every MOSS student. The Days of Giving continues to assist in essential technology needs, however this year’s goal will also support the many co-curricular and extra-curricular programs that help to enhance students’ continued development and experience.

There are many opportunities for our students to benefit from “outside the classroom” experiences, such as: the MOSS Musical, MOSS School Store, Mathletes, Diocesan Reading Competition, MOSS Choir and Altar Servers, Student Council, Jr. American Citizen Contest, and the PA Junior Academy of Science (PJAS). Your generosity will also help support MOSS related athletics, such as: Jump Rope, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Track & Field, Girls Volleyball, Girls Basketball, and Boys Basketball.

The link for this site will be emailed to all school families and will be available on the school’s Facebook page. Please share this link with family, friends and local businesses.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes! All donations are tax-deductible. Once your online or direct donation is processed, you will receive a letter acknowledging your tax-deductible contribution.
