Even with Reason Craig Gray, the BREEDER, IN JAIL FACING 700 plus cruelty charges...It’s hard to say JUSTICE SERVED for years of neglect Joy, Merry, Faith, Ada, Louie, Abby, Wilson, and the other 700 + dogs suffered.

RESCUE IS BEST BREED, but if you choose to buy designer dog:
Ask to see parents
Ask to see their license
Ask to see vet and health records on pup and parents.
Your paying premium dollar and should know the facts, if not your supporting the overwhelming number of BAD BREEDERS adding to the stress of homeless pet population being euthanized by the hundreds of thousands each year by county shelters !! Dogs being euthanized isn’t the county shelters fault, it’s the community!! The community is creating the problem! SPAY/NEUTER your pet please!!!

BERRIEN COUNTY, Ga. – A dog breeder is facing serious charges this week after more than 700 dogs were rescued from his property.

Gray voluntarily surrendered 630 dogs, but law enforcement found 85 more puppies when they executed a search warrant. Deputies said he likely moved these dogs off the property during the surrender and brought them back shortly thereafter.
“There are many questions yet to be answered and one huge one is how this licensed pet dealer was allowed to have an operation with this many beautiful creatures to be able to populate to the point of being out of control and inhumane,” Berrien County Sheriff Ray Paulk said in the post.
Gray is currently being held in jail and has given up his pet dealer’s license.

News details: “On Thursday March 7th, a week after the Georgia Department of Agriculture came to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office and advised Sheriff Ray Paulk that they had done an inspection on the business of Reason Craig Gray, the Department of Agriculture called the Sheriff and advised that they had spoken to Gray and he admitted he brought more puppies back to the Barney Parker Road Property. Investigators with the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office immediately obtained a search warrant for Gray’s business known as “Georgia Puppies” and executed it with Berrien County Animal Control on standby. “During the search, an additional 85 dogs were taken into rescue by our animal control, and other rescue agencies.” Stated Sheriff Paulk. After a thorough search of Gray’s residence and kennel, Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office perfected an arrest on Gray. There are numerous charges pending on Gray, and as the investigation continues to unfold, there is no way to tell just how many charges will be filed. Due to the extent of this operation and as many documents and veterinary reports that are currently being inspected by the Sheriff’s Office, there is no way to know at this time how many charges there will be. It is believed that Reason Craig Gray had moved these dogs (most being young puppies) out sometime during the voluntary surrender of the 630 plus dogs last week and brought them back to the property a day or two later. Sheriff Paulk states that “There are many questions yet to be answered and one huge one is how this licensed pet dealer was allowed to have an operation with this many beautiful creatures to be able to populate to the point of being out of control and inhumane.” Reason Craig Gray 58, of Nashville is currently booked in the Berrien County Jail pending charges for the cruel treatment of these dogs and obstruction. Sheriff Ray Paulk would like to thank everyone for being patient while the investigation has taken some time and is still continuing. Paulk states “We are currently obtaining more documentation from the veterinarian examinations, retrieving statements, and reviewing the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s reports.” - Berrien county sheriffs office
