Campaign Details

Hello, I am Sherry Rowley, the president of OFF DUTY MANAGEMENT. I am reaching out during these unprecedented times of COVID-19 asking for your help to create something very special and amazing to respect, honor, and remember fallen officers and their families.

As you may or may not know, today is the start of National Police Week.

Every year, Americans come together (or take this moment) to pay tribute to law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice to keep us and our communities safe.

Unfortunately, amid COVID-19, many of the beautiful memorials expressing our heartfelt gratitude, respect and honor that typically take place during this week have been significantly altered or cancelled completely.

As a team of former law-enforcement professionals, we understand how devastating this is for the families, friends, and co-workers of all fallen officers. Our team felt compelled to create a special memorial during this time of crisis; honoring the sacrifices made and not let these unsung heroes go unrecognized.

We worked hard to develop a meaningful and special way to respect, honor and remember all of the fallen officers during these times of COVID-19, sheltering in place and social distancing that will allow us all to demonstrate our resolve and unity as a nation by shining a bright light on these fallen officers that selflessly gave for us.

This week, we at ODM are hosting an online memorial and fundraiser for these officers, their families, and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

This year 307 officers’ names are being added to wall and already another 42 have fallen in the line of duty in 2020. We want you to help us light 22,000 candles across the country and share your photos and videos with us by May 15, Peace Officer Memorial Day to show our respect and honor for these officers and their families.

We invite you to join in our Light for Law Enforcement and donate a square to our memorial grid that will be shared with the families of the fallen. When you pick a square, you will have the opportunity to upload a photo or video of your candle lighting, This will be a lasting memory that will pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Participation requires a small minimum $5 donation that will benefit the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

Together, our hearts at ODM are with you all during these uncertain times. We thank you for supporting these officers, their families, and co-workers. Thank you for helping ODM honor the fallen.

Please encourage everyone you know to light a candle for law enforcement and help us all honor these heroes.

May you all stay strong, safe, and healthy.

Thank you and God Bless.
