It's All About the LOVE!

If you are reading this you are an animal lover, and you probably have pets of your own who are much loved by you. At Lifeline for Pets, we love our rescued cats and dogs, too. Since we are no-kill, we have about 20 very skittish kitties who have been and will likely be with us always, as adopters and fosters are hard to find. Keeping them healthy and safe as they age is expensive. We are in need of additional funds for increasing vet care.

All the pictures here are of our shy kitties. A few are young, some are teens or adults, and several are seniors. A couple are older special needs.

Sure, we would LOVE to find them loving, furever homes, but it's a rare purr-son who will adopt or foster a skittish kitty. We can’t take them to adoptions because they would be too frightened, so we have to rely on someone with much patience noticing them on our website and being open to take in a shy kitty.

People like that are very hard to find. However, we've been trying to promote our shy guys everywhere—in the papers, on our FB page, etc. Our terrific volunteers and socializers work hard to gain their trust, and some are showing hopeful signs of progress. We’d love to get them in foster homes, but, again, foster homes are hard to find.

Keeping over 20 skittish kitties, as well as very adoptable ones, is expensive, and we find ourselves, in early 2018 and in the month of LOVE, needing additional funds. This is why we need you. You helped us so much last year, and we are so very grateful that you have put your trust in us.

Please give whatever amount you can. Sharing with other animal lovers is much appreciated, too. Love and pamper your own pets, and give to the ones who have not found that elusive, special home.

By the way, when you donate on a heart, you have the option of uploading a picture of your own pet/s. We love to see those!

NOTE: If you can consider adopting or fostering 1 or 2 of our shy guys, please let us know. You can call us at 626-676-9505 or 626-797-1753. Usually a shy kitty will hide a lot at first and you won't even know it's there! We provide any needed vet care, and the foster provides food, litter, safety, and love. If you can't adopt or foster but want some free PR for your business, we also offer a sponsorship program on our website.)
