Campaign Details
In the care of HSWC, Peanut received a warm bath, a nail trimming and a fresh hair cut. She was treated for fleas, and her decaying teeth were extracted by our shelter veterinarian. With just 6 teeth left, she happily devoured food and slowly gained the weight she needed to be healthy.
Peanut now enjoys burrowing in a nest of blankets and curling up in a warm lap. She regularly sports miniature-sized sweaters, and plays with toys twice her size. She has regained her health and confidence by staying in a foster home, where she fits right in with her two Lab foster-siblings and two feline foster-sisters.
Unfortunately, Peanut is not the first animal who has come to us abandoned, neglected and afraid. And sadly, she won't be the last. We need your support to help others just like her. This giving season, we ask you to give from your heart so that animals like Peanut never have to live in pain or fear again.
Help us reach our goal of $5,000. Please donate today.
