Counting Calories for Cami

Urgent help needed for Cami !

Campaign Details

Meet our newest girl who will be making her way to be fostered by one of our founders today.
Millie, now Cami, made her way to @chianimalcareandcontrol yesterday. She came in with another pup, Max, who has been saved by another rescue.
Cami was tethered outside in the sweltering heat with nothing. No food, no shelter, no water. She was covered in flies, dehydrated, anemic, and with every single bone on her body on full display. She is the face of abandonment and neglect, and she deserved better. She deserves better.

Cami will need lots of intensive and specialized care in the coming months while her body continues the uphill battle for survival. She will need multiple vet visits to make sure her organs haven’t been damaged beyond repair from the lack of nourishment she’s faced. She will need repeat lab work to keep track of her overall progress. She will need lots and lots of stinky, tasty, high calorie food to get her back to a safe weight over an extended period of time.

If you have the ability to pitch in for Cami, we’d be so appreciative. Please stayed tuned to our social media to see how she continues to heal during this journey.
