The Lieberman Family would like to thank Brienne Colby Sembrat for her ongoing work with the Beth Award and carrying on Beth's legacy. Thank you for keeping Beth's passion for soccer and for life alive in the young women in the Mt. Lebanon Girls Soccer program.
A message from Brienne Colbry Sembrat; "I am very honored every year to present the Beth award given in the memory of Beth Lieberman, my friend and teammate. Beth was killed in a pedestrian car accident when we were sophomores in high school. I can tell you that her being was so strong that I can still picture her and remember her like it was yesterday. Her legacy is one of joy, passion, capricious living and an "all out all in philosophy." The awardee is chosen by the coaches for a sophomore "who demonstrates distinct desire and enthusiasm for soccer and who gives maximum effort to improve her skills and knowledge of the game."
Beth is survived by her father Mark (his wife Karen), brother Josh (his wife Dana, kids Miles & Luisa) and sisters Emily and Hallie. We hope that everyone remembers Beth for her bigger than life laugh and personality. Please take a moment and share a picture/memory on the top of the page. We are always touched by the outreach of Beth's friends over the years. It brings us a sense of peace to know that her spirit lives on with so many people.
Thank you for the support. The funds go to the award itself and the recipient also receives a gift card to show our appreciation.
Much love & peace, The Lieberman Family
