GSD Rescue Indy's New Sanctuary

The sanctuary finally has it's perfect location. The only thing now missing is our pole barn. A builder has been hired and we are only waiting on funds to arrive. With this new pole barn, the shepherds will enjoy an indoor kennel that is double their current size, custom space for ease and efficiency in cleaning, and more room overall.

Sanctuary work requires that dogs stay with the rescue for their lifetime. Space rarely opens up, so the rescue has had to lower the number of shepherds rescued. The new pole barn will provide the rescue the ability to save more shepherds who are in need.

GSD Rescue Indy Inc

About the Organization

Founded in 2011, the rescue has transitioned to primarily a sanctuary for long-term GSDs with either behavioral, medical, or advanced age concerns. The rescue is dedicated to saving those who have a poor chance of adoption at local and regional shelters in the United States. The rescue also is a rescue partner with SaveKoreanDogs.com who works tirelessly to end the dog meat trade in Korea.
