The Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge Memorial

Memorialize your precious baby who has passed on, by adding a photo or simply their name and making an optional small donation to the animal rescue of your choice.Honor its life while saving another.

What is this memorial?

It is out of our love and passion for animals still with us and the ones who have passed on that we created this Rainbow Bridge Memorial. It gives all of us a special way to share the photos and names of the fur kids we loved so much that are no longer living and help the ones that still are…

If you’re not familiar with the Rainbow Bridge, please take a moment and read the poem below. It is quite beautiful. Even if you have read the poem, you may want to read it again. It will bring you tears of happiness, fond memories and a big smile, knowing what lies ahead…

So please share a photo or simply the name of your loved one who is no longer with us and consider making a donation to one of six wonderful animal rescues or shelters. It’s not required. They are handpicked and do incredible work to rescue, rehabilitate and either find new homes or care for these animals for life. You can even honor a friend’s pet and send them an eCard. Your donation will go directly to the rescue/shelter you choose.

Thank you so much for helping and sharing…

A beautiful poem...

Just this side of heaven is a place called The Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
