Where do you turn when you need inspiration?
If you are like many other people you find yourself turning to the arts for a spark. We surround ourselves with creativity without realizing the connection it has to our lives. Singing to the radio. Doodling. Writing a poem. Enjoying the movies. The Arts are a way to bring communities together.
For thousands of years the visual, written, and performing arts have been a catalyst for some of the most amazing changes in the world. It is with this idea of transformation that we have developed the Murals on Main Program. The Manville Arts Council and the Murals on Main Program rely on the support of generous donors such as yourself to succeed.
We believe in the power of community and the idea that one person can make a difference.
This #GivingTuesday we begin a month-long campaign to reach our $5,000.00 goal of making Murals on Main a reality. When we look at the practical side of creating a mural, the costs add up quickly. The unique needs of this program become daunting. Each mural project requires numerous items to be realized. In addition to basic materials such as gallons of paint, tape, and buckets, a project of this scale also requires unexpected expenses such as insurance, scaffolding, and safety equipment.
As we prepare to embark on this artistic journey, support from generous donors like you has never been more important. If 250 people give $20.00 we will meet our goal by the year's end. As you make your donation please consider sharing this Giving Grid with your friends and family on social media, and help spread support for the Arts.
