Campaign Details
On July 10th, Bird Rescue jumped into action when a large ficus tree split and fell, sending dozens of baby herons and egrets tumbling to the ground. Over the course of a 3-day rescue effort, 89 orphaned baby birds were taken into our care, and we need your help to raise them to adulthood!
These young birds will need feedings every 90 minutes, regular exams and weight checks, and medical procedures to treat injuries related to their fall from the tree. Depending on its age, each bird will be in our care anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks before release.
We are trying to raise $50,000 to provide these birds with the emergency that care they need until release and to prepare for the next emergency response! Please donate and share!
