CSTR Needs Your Help

We urgently need your help!

Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue is committed to saving the dogs who need us most, and since 2008 we've done just that.  Dogs like Gabriel and Munroe were saved from dying in animal shelters. Carly was hit by a semi tractor trailer and would have died without CSTR's help.  And Josie was saved from life in a puppy mill.  Saving dogs costs money, though, and we can't save more until we get our vet bill paid down.  So, please.. make a donation today.

Campaign Details

When Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue was begun on July 29, 2008, it was begun with the desire to help the dogs no one else wanted, the dogs who needed us most.  The launch of the Refuge program later that year and then Polo's Refuge, CSTR's Senior Dog Retirement Home program in 2010 put that desire to work.  Because of our commitment, though, it means that we have dogs in our program with significant health problems requiring ongoing vet visits and medications.  We have several seniors with dry eye requiring daily medications, Bobby continues to battle ear and demodex mange issues requiring frequent vet visits and medications, JJ was diagnosed with rectal cancer and so sees Dr. Q regularly.. such is what happens when your commitment is to old dogs, as ours is.  And so our vet bill is always growing.  Sadly, donations have been down so far in 2017, and so we have had to close our program to intake for the time being until we can get our current vet bill paid down.  We receive requests every single day, though, about dogs needing help throughout Florida and surrounding areas, and we would desperately like to help them.  So, please.. donate today and share our story to help us raise these funds so that we can get back to what we do best.. helping the dogs who need us most.

Thank you so much, everyone who has donated!  We're over halfway there and appreciate everyone who has made this possible!  We have just $800 left to raise to reach our goal, so please, spread the word and help us get this bill paid so that we can save some more dogs!
