2022 Fund Our Ferals' Future!

Fund Our Ferals Future Giving Grid Campaign has begun and ends May 31st. We have two projects we would like to pursue:

1) Replacing our parking lot! The snowplow has been having quite a battle with the uneven pavement and holes!

2) The back steps to the single door are an awkward height and it's hard to get in the door if you are carrying anything – need more space and probably a railing.

Just these two items could take quite a chunk of money! We still have to get firm quotes.

We have $18,000 in pledges to be matched; we can get quite a lot done with that! Please help us to continue to make improvements, make our building safer!

Campaign Details

We have been gradually migrating our operations to the new building and are taking advantage of all the benefits that it, and the upgrades we've done to it, have given us.

But it's like owning a house - there's always SOMETHING that has to be fixed or improved and this year's Fund Our Ferals' Future! is targeted towards two projects:

  • Replacing our parking lot! The snowplow has been having quite a battle with the uneven pavement and holes!
  • The back steps to the single door are an awkward height and it's hard to get in the door if you are carrying anything – need more space and probably a railing.

And, in addition to these two projects, there is still the ongoing monthly expenses. Some of these are:

  •     Mortgage - $1600
  •     Utilities - $650
  •     Garbage Pickup - $65

Snow removal has been a huge expense this year.  Lawn maintenance has been $120 each month.  It's just like owning another home but multiplied by 4 due to size.

We want to be certain of the future of Feral Fixers and we need you, our donors, to help with not only the one-time purchases of sinks and flooring, but with the monthly expenses that maintain our day-to-day operations.  We've made a tremendous difference and need our supporters, those who believe in our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) mission, to donate now.

We have pledges of $18,000 in matching funds, so every dollar you donate as part of the Fundraiser up to $18,000 will be doubled!

Help us continue to help the cats of DuPage County by caring for even more cats in the future - THANK YOU!
