Campaign Details
PrideRock Wildlife Refuge is a nonprofit charity that provides life long homes for neglected and abused wild captive lions, tigers, wolves and now bears. We have been saving lives for 20 years.
PrideRock is on a mission to save the Three Bears that face euthanization if we cannot bring them to live at PrideRock by November 2015. These bears have lived their lives in a sanctuary, where they have daily room service and housekeeping. They have never roamed the forest in search of food. And now the owner of the sanctuary has passed away and the refuge they call home comes to an end as the sanctuary closes it's doors for good. All the other animals have found other places to call home. But the three little bears are still waiting. Through no fault of their own, the three bears lives are in jeopardy. PrideRock will provide them a lifelong home in a suitable environment with all their needs met. However to do that, PrideRock must build a new enclosure for the Bears. For that to happen, funds will have to be raised through donations and grants. All donations are tax deductible.
Our goal with this campaign is to raise $20,000. If this goal is reached, we will have the fund to complete Phase I of the project. If we do not meet this goal, the three bears will be put to sleep in November and funds that were donated will be used for other enclosure needs. PrideRock is launching this campaign because we are responding to an emergency request to save the three bears. We have raised approximately $20,000 through North Texas Giving Day.
The Three Bears Enclosure Project Estimated Costs $90,000
Phase I - Three Individual Covered Enclosures with Dens Estimated Costs $40,000
Phase II - Three Individual Play Yards with Climbing Apparatus Estimated Costs $50,000
Phase I costs must be funded before November 1st so the enclosure can be completed by the end of November. Please donate to help the three bears.
