OBARR Animal Quarantine Kennel

Right now we are using a makeshift quarantine area for dogs. It is the bottom of an 80-100 year old dairy barn that  is in such bad shape it needs torn down.

This is the only place we have to put new dogs to keep from spreading illness and disease.

We received funds for a quarantine kennel, but it was only a start. We need your help! Electricity, water, heat, fencing, and the inside  finishes are still needed. YOUR donations can make it happen!

Campaign Details

So many dogs come to us without a history. We have no idea if they have been vaccinated, heart worm tested, have health issues, or have been exposed or carry any illness or disease.  It is very important to keep these dogs away from other animals until they can get the care they need.  Any stray dog that is brought to the Olive Branch also has to be held in quarantine five days to give the owner time to claim the dog.

We were in desperate need of a quarantine kennel to put new animals to keep from the possible spread of contagious sickness.

The first photo is the area we now use for quarantine. We were able for get funds to start the new quarantine area, but there is much work  still to be done. We need, a heating system, water, electricity, fencing, and the rest of the finish work completed.

The photos show what work still needs to be done in the new kennel. Work is at a standstill until we get the much needed donations to finish.

Your donation will help make this vital quarantine area a reality.
