Campaign Details

On Sunday March 21, 2021 BioAutism will hold its annual Walk for Autism starting from Lawn 3, Princes Park, Carlton North between 10am-12pm. The event is free but please register here so we can better plan the day.

Participants are encouraged to complete a 3.3km run/walk in support of autism research. If you can't attend or feel unsafe attending a public event but still want to support you consider completing the 3.3km walk, run or scoot at any time and location that suits you.

We are raising funds through this Giving Grid platform as well accepting donations on the day. At the conclusion of the walk there will be free face painting for young children as well as a coffee van. Walk for Autism t-shirts will also be on sale for $5 each at the venue.

BioAutism Limited

About the Organization

BioAutism is the only charity in Australia dedicated specifically to raising awareness and funding for research into what causes autism. In 2020 approximately 3,000 babies with autism will be born in Australia. Government funding for basic autism research in Australia is very limited. We need your support so that Australian scientists can find the causes of autism and develop better diagnostic tools and treatments than are currently available.
