2025 Black Cat Fundraiser

Black Cat #GivingTuesday has always involved the promotion of some of our adoptable cats with black coats.

With generous donors who want to see their donations go further, we currently have $10,000 in funds to be matched! Go to our Giving Grid, make a donation and share your own favorite photos, it's great to see photos of some of the Feral Fixers alumni! Whether you donate $10 or $500, you will change the lives of these cats forever. You have until 12/31/25 but don't wait until the last minute!

Please help us achieve this goal, the cats will be very grateful! Whether you donate $5 or $500, you will change the lives of these cats forever.

Black Cat Giving Tuesday

During our Black Cat Giving Tuesday fundraiser we promote many of our adoptable black cats.

There are many black cats/kittens on our Adoptables page - Brihanna, Cassandra, Jombo, Logan, Prudence.  We also would like to promote our black/white felines – Muldoon, Pigion, Primo, Socksi, Stewie, Steffie.  There are more that are not yet posted!  Coat colors seem to influence behavior, and black cats seem to make an extra effort.

Logan is a sweet black panther boy with a rough past. When he came to us, he had quite a number of war wounds from his time surviving outside, resulting in testing FIV+.   He has healed, filled out a little, reacclimated to life indoors, and this 3-year-old is now ready for his forever home.  Very friendly, but not particularly fond of lap, he prefers to sit up right next to you, touching you - as close as possible, without being on you. He is fine with being picked up and even handles nail trims well. Of course, he loves his cat treats. When his foster dad shakes the treat jar, he comes running!  Toy mice and laser lights, watching birds out the window are many of his favorite things.

As of 11/6/25, 773 cats have been neutered this year, of those 141 are black or black/white.  It seems that black and black/white cats are continuing to be about 18% of the population we encounter.  So many cats!  Take a look at our Adoptables page and change their lives AND yours!

Our 2025 Black Cat #Giving Tuesday Fundraiser supports the many cats and kittens that have no caretaker to donate to cover the costs of spay/neuter as we work to neuter them all!

Our donors often wait for an opportunity to have their funds matched and we currently have $10,000 in funds to be matched!  This will be our last Giving Grid fundraiser of 2025, please help us achieve our goal - the cats will be very grateful! Share your own favorite photos, it's great to see photos of some of the Feral Fixers alumni!  Whether you donate $10 or $500, you will change the lives of these cats forever.  You have until 12/31/25 but don’t wait until the last minute!

Thank you so much!

About the Organization

We practice and promote Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Healthy adult cats unsocialized to humans are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of their original caretakers. We also help find homes for the adoptable cats we find during our efforts.
