Next Step for Bo's Medical Issues

Urgent help needed for Bo!

We took Bo in May 2026; he came from NE Iowa. Our foster home noticed an abscess in his mouth. He went to our vet and had dental X-rays which showed that the left side of Bo's jaw is significantly thicker than the right side. It revealed a questionable area around one of his molar roots. This could be what's called a dentigerous cyst or possibly a tooth root abscess. Given the complexity of Bo's case, his next step was a consult with a vet Dentist in Norwalk, IA. They checked out all his records & x-rays and have recommended 3D imaging with them and then oral surgery. They said typically they take the imaging and then determines exactly what needs to be done during surgery. Estimate of the cost of treatment ranges $2,807 to up to $6,496. We have set the fundraiser in the middle at $4,651.
