In Loving Memory of David Mickits

Many of you know Jill and her unwavering love for animals and rescue work. Tragically, her lifelong partner, David Mickits, passed away suddenly, leaving behind a legacy of love and support for the dogs that touched their lives.

Though David was known for his playful complaints about the rescue work, those who knew him saw the love he had for their dogs and the foster pups that came and went. One of his favorites, Brooke, was a testament to that love. After rescuing her, David often said, "Their loss, our gain." Despite his grumbles, he was proud of Jill's dedication and adored the animals who became part of their family.

To honor Jill's incredible rescue work and David's memory, the family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dallas Dog Wall of Love. This tribute will not only celebrate David's life but also continue the rescue work that meant so much to Jill and the dogs they cared for together.

Our thoughts are with Jill and her family during this difficult time. Let's honor David's legacy by supporting the cause he quietly cherished. 🐾
