June is for Kittens!

Help the upcoming "Avalanche of Kittens'! Area shelters are inundated with kittens every year. Help us reduce the numbers of kittens born outside that remain outside to produce more and crowd our shelters even more. Your donations will enable us to trap, tame, neuter and offer for adoption the kittens already born and reduce the euthanasia and overpopulation of feral cats county-wide! Have an immediate impact on the stray and feral cats in DuPage County!

Campaign Details

Every year we use all of our resources to trap the kittens that we receive dozens and dozens of calls about, placing them with our shelter partners and fostering and finding homes for them ourselves.  We have just started to hear the rumblings of the oncoming 'Kitten Avalanche', it is coming!  We assist approximately 300 kittens each year - help us support those little lives by donating to us in this JUNE IS FOR KITTENS! campaign!

Your donations allow us to purchase kitten-specific supplies like wet and dry kitten food, human baby food, litter and heating pads.  So often, the kittens require additional trips to the vet and donations will help us cover those costs, too!

Kittens are a challenge.  Cute, cuddly, so very sweet - they are part of one of the most challenging times of the year for Feral Fixers!  "Kitten Season" covers Spring to Fall with phone calls asking for help coming daily, sometimes hourly.  They may have been born an hour ago or already 10 weeks old, we have to be prepared for the wide range of needs that these kittens present us.  We must take them in, the alternative is not an option, we cannot leave them there to experience all the life-threatening risks they may encounter, become feral, go on to make more kittens.  Your donations now will prepare us to guarantee good lives for these kittens for the rest of the year!

Your donations will make a difference!
