Litter Love

Have you ever noticed how many kittens and puppies come into this world each spring?  Unfortunately, many stray cats and dogs have not been spayed or neutered.  The result is predictable.  More stray cats and dogs join the animal population.  Many of these animals die before reaching maturity and others are euthanized at shelters as populations explode.  Help us save more of these tiny creatures from that outcome.

Campaign Details

Spring time brings more to the air than the smell of flowers and rain.  It brings an onslaught of homeless kittens and puppies produced by the stray population.  Our goal is to save 10 litters of kittens/puppies or 50 animals (assuming 5 newborns per litter).   Bay Area Pet Adoptions is a 501(c)3 not for profit no kill shelter.   All of our pets are current on vaccines, have been spayed/neutered, and are microchipped prior to adoptions.  All cats are FIV and FELV negative and all dogs are heartworm negative.   Though we are a small shelter, we are about saving lives.  It will cost us $350-$400 to nurture each animal.  Our cost includes shelter for approx. 4 months (allowing them to reach an age when they can be spayed or neutered) as well as all shots, neutering, food, and care.  Each animal born into this world is precious and we wish we could save them all.

Please help us save more of God's creatures in a safe and loving environment!
