Campaign Details
Cats Cradle Shelter is known for taking these difficult cases and we need your help to try and save Bartelbee's eyes. He will be under the close supervision of our vet over the next 5 days.
Bartelbee was originally rescued by the Marshmallow Foundation on October 16, 2017. He remained in their care until this morning when he was transferred to Cats Cradle Shelter by his foster mom, Connie, after it was determined they did not have the resources to give him the medical care he required. We immediately sent him to our partnering Veterinarian, Dr. Charly Stansbery of Red Barn Veterinary Services who is going to do everything she can to save his sight. We are very optomistice we can save the left eye, the right eye is much more severe. Dr. Charly performed a grid keratectomy on the left eye. She removed excessive granulation tissue and did the same thing to the right eye. Now what he needs is time, pain control and medications. We are in a wait and see holding pattern to see if he will require a second surgery to have the eye removed next week...please donate and share this fundraiser.
