Heartworm Treatment for SC Dogs

Urgent help needed for 9 Dogs Need Help!!

Over the past two weeks, we saved the lives of 22 dogs at risk from Hurricane Florence.  Of those 22 dogs, NINE have heartworm disease.  The fight is on to save their lives once again through a very expensive and painful treatment, but we have faith that these nine dogs will make it though and go on to live amazing lives.

We NEED your help to make this happen.  Treatment is $500 per dog and we are counting on you to help us save their lives again

We are blown away at everyone's generosity!  We have exceeded our goal by over $1000!  Thank you doesn't begin to cover the level of our gratitude.

There are additional dogs at our shelter that are being treated for heartworms, in addition to the nine from South Carolina.  We also take in new dogs with heartworm disease almost weekly.  The additional funds that are being donated at this point will go towards helping other dogs in our care with this horrible disease.

Bruce (below), Clara, Cubby, Reba, Penelope, Fulton, Howie, Sebastian, and Owen are all going to be treated for heartworms and will get to go on to live wonderful lives with their families.  In fact, a few of these sweet babies have already gone home on a foster-to-adopt basis, so they can heal and grow with a loving family.   Again, thank you, from the bottoms of our hearts.
