 Student Testimonials

I arrived at Keystone Christian Academy last year after my family moved here from Mexico to begin a ministry in Nebraska. At first I felt like the work was too demanding, but as the year progressed, I received a greater appreciation for learning than I ever had before. Keystone taught me how to value learning, education, and brain engagement. What I value most about Keystone's method of teaching is the freedom to be where you are at, and the positive encouragement, no matter the grade on your paper. The values of engaging my brain, thinking about my walk with God, and discussing issues thoroughly, are all included in what I have learned from this wonderful school.  10th grader with homeschool classes

Keystone Christian Academy has helped build my faith. I've learned ways to defend my faith while being sensitive to the beliefs of others. The teachers here are phenomenal. They really have a heart for the kids they teach. I came here worrying about my grades, but Miss Lotz has taught me that the grade doesn't tell the story. If you pay attention in class and study, you will do great. So, if you want to be accepted, challenged, and tried, KCA is the place for you.    8th grader

Keystone is an amazing school. I really think Keystone Christian Academy has brought out the best and the worst in me. As a student I truly feel that I am learning to work hard and persevere. Even though it may seem hard, Miss Lotz, my teacher, really makes me think and doesn't give up on any of us, even if we are really annoying. In conclusion, Keystone is helping me mature and think more than I thought I would and I have only been here for one grading period.   7th grader

At Keystone, students learn in a Christan environment that encourages discussion. Prayer and Bible study are integrated into the schedule. Personally, the discussion time is very helpful. This year, our class has been reading and discussing "The Scarlet Letter".  The Examination of shame and how it impacts the community in the novel provides insight into our culture today. Keystone teaches, not only school subjects, but Biblical, spiritual, and emotional truths which guide the graduate, as they move on to college and adult life.  10th grade homeschooler

I am grateful for my friends, and my teachers are very nice. I like that we get to read a lot, and that I can have fun learning.   4th grader
