Campaign Details
For over 40 years, PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap has served tens of thousands of pets and their people, on Bainbridge Island and throughout North Kitsap, without a cent of government support. We rely entirely on local businesses, foundations, and mostly, on the compassion and generosity of individual animal lovers.
If you'd like to spay or neuter your pet but aren't sure where to start, PAWS can help. We offer assistance to qualified low-income families and individuals., helping hundreds of families every year.
If you have lost or found a pet you can post a picture and description at www.KitsapLostPets.org a free county-wide service operated by PAWS. Thousands of pets are listed and reunited every year, thanks to the support of our supporters.
The PALS Program offers financial assistance to seniors on a fixed income who own pets, and helps match seniors with cats looking for homes at no cost, including veterinary care for the life of the cat, thanks to your contributions.
PAWS' Pet Food Bank program provides cat food and dog food to the four main food banks on Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap.
Hundreds of families every year find their new best friend at one of PAWS' adoption locations - 4688 Lynwood Center Rd Bainbridge or 26569 Lindvog Rd Kingston, or at our outreach location in the PetCo in Poulsbo.
Our Right Dog-Right Home programs works with many partner rescues to help families find the dog that is the best fit for their needs.
If you have free roaming cats that are having litter after litter of kittens, PAWS can help with trap loans, sterilization of the adults and socialization and placement of the kittens.
PAWS provides emergency boarding for families in crisis. Currently 30 days of boarding is available for cats, and 72 hours is available for dogs.
