Atlas' End of Year Fundraiser

A service dog can change someone's life. But obtaining one is no easy feat. We need your help so that more people can benefit from this life-saving partnership.

We see time and time again how much people can thrive with a service dog by their side. From alerting to blood sugar changes, keeping their handler safe during a seizure, retrieving items for someone who has difficulty bending over or walking, and interrupting panic attacks and self-harm behaviors, there is no question about what these dogs can do.

Your gift will have a direct impact on the lives of many who will benefit from the skills, support, and love of their service dog.

People come to us because they have run into all kinds of barriers. They have not been able to find a service dog trainer to work with, or the cost of training was far too great. They might have been denied support from another organization because they did not have the "right" type of disability or were not "disabled enough". They come to us because their important need has been unmet.

With your help, we can:

  • Make service dog training affordable
  • Eliminate years of waitlists for people in immediate need of support
  • Provide more opportunities and tools for people to ethically train their own service dog
  • Provide continuous support to clients and their dogs, even after their initial training is complete
  • Find successor dogs for our clients' whose service dogs have retired or passed
  • Ensure that the person and dog's needs are properly met and that the teams are set up for success

So many more people could and should be able to access these incredible beings. YOU can help make that possible.

Your gift will have a direct impact on the lives of many who will benefit from the skills, support, and love of their service dog.

Thank you for your kindness and care.

Atlas Assistance Dogs

About the Organization

Atlas fundamentally expands access to assistance dogs. We support people with disabilities to train and certify their own service dog using positive, ethical training methods. At Atlas, we believe anyone who would benefit from a qualified assistance dog should be able to have one.
