Help Adopt A Cat Stay Open

Adopt A Cat has survived many hardships and continued to serve its community by saving many lives throughout the years (Since 1994).

As of today, AAC is in a $15,000 debt that it accrued due to fighting to stay up and running despite the hard times. It takes approximately $9,000 a month to run the shelter efficiently. We have been scrounging by with much less.

Still, we strive to provide all the kitties (80+) in our care with shelter, care, and love until they find their new forever homes (however long it takes).

The kitties lives depend on us! Please contribute by making a donation or sharing our campaign for more support! Thank you!

About the Organization

We're a non-profit, no kill Cat Sanctuary. Founded in 1994 by Dr. Beverly Harper PhD, MPH who had a vision of a safe place for the forgotten cats of Houston to rest their weary paws and wait for their destined people to find them and take them home.
