Spay/Neuter to Break the Chain 2016

Did you know, one female dog, her mate and all of their puppies, if none are fixed, can add up to 67,000 dogs in 6 years? Now image, those parent dogs are 24/7 chained dogs and live in a community where the vast majority of dogs are chained or kept outside in deplorable conditions. More likely than not, most of their offspring will turn into about 67,000 more chained dogs. With your help & donation, we can break the chain by fixing these dogs.

Campaign Details

Please help us break the chain this year by donating to and sharing this link so that we can get chained dogs spayed and neutered. By getting chained dogs fixed, it helps prevent chained dogs from reproducing and creating even more chained dogs. When a chained dog has puppies, chances are her offspring will be chained dogs too. In 2015, we spent $6,022 on spay and neuter at just one spay/neuter clinic.

Hi, we are C.H.A.I.N.E.D. Inc. and we enhance the lives of 24/7 chained dogs in Southwest Detroit and Downriver. Our focus is to provide essential supplies and services to chained dogs while educating their owner on proper care of a dog. Our ultimate goal is to transition chained dogs into inside dogs that are a well loved and well taken care of part of the family. Unfortunately, sometimes chained dogs end up pregnant. Many of those dogs end up giving birth on the chain. All throughout the year, whether it's -3 or 105 degrees outside, those puppies born outside continue to stay outside and many of them will die due to the circumstances and lack of care. With your help and support, we want to help prevent that from happening. We want to put an end to the suffering. We can start with educating the community, but we also need to get those dogs fixed to truly break the cycle. We really need your help and support! In 2015 alone, we spent $6,022 on spay/neuter at one spay/neuter clinic. It costs between $105-130 to get one dog fixed with shots, ecollar, dewormer and heartworm test- depending on what the dog needs.
