Helping People Who Help Animals

Our mission is to help people who rescue and care for stray and abandoned animals until an adoptive home is found. We extend all of our available resources to the caring rescuers and volunteers who help achieve this goal. We promote the spaying and neutering of all pets and we assist low-income families in finding low-cost spay/neuter options.

Our sincerest THANKS for checking us out!

Fundraise for this Campaign

Campaign Details

Out of the Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas was established in 2007 with one goal in mind, Helping People Who Help Animals.  We saw a need that was not being met ... stray and abandoned dogs and cats in rural areas where no resources were available (such as a county or city shelter or humane society).  In Arkansas, the need is great.  Since our inception, thousands of pets have come through our program, received vetting (many times life-saving), and placed for adoption.

Our adoption fee of $150 for puppies and dogs and $100 for kittens and cats, rarely covers the vetting of the animal, hence our fundraising.

Thank you for taking the time to check us out! Complete information can be found on our website, www.ootwrescue.org
