Campaign Details
Diana's Grove Dog Rescue is the largest private, no-kill, non-profit rescue in the state of Missouri. Currently funding for this rescue is primarily from adoption fees and individual donors. We have recently begun seeking other funding sources to aid with increasing costs and needs.
The rescue has served over 10,000 dogs and puppies in the last 10 years. In the last 2 years we have begun supporting low-income dog owners in our community by helping fund spay/neuter options to help reduce the numbers of unwanted litters. There are no other low-cost spay/neuter options in our immediate area. We serve much of southern Missouri and parts of Northern Arkansas.
Currently over 350 dogs and puppies are residents at the rescue. Younger pups, nursing mothers, and smaller dogs are housed in indoor facilities. Adult dogs and larger pups over 6 months old are housed in covered out-door facilities with dog houses. These out-door facilities require insulating for the winter months. Straw is an excellent insulator and is approved by the Missouri Department of Agriculture, the agency that regulates our facility. The straw, kennel coverings, and wind breaks need constant replacement, repair and upkeep. The dogs and puppies need your help and this is one easy way to do that.
