Paw-liday Help

For roughly the last 3 years, COVID has devastated our fundraising and our efforts to rescue animals. But try telling that to the adorable kittens and cats who only just want a home! It's been tough!

First, almost all of our in-person fundraising had been canceled. Then as COVID started winding down, many had no more need for the animals they adopted during the pandemic and started dumping them at shelters. And to make matters worse, we're really low on fosters, with more animals than ever in our care.

We love them, and our work can't end. We need your help through Dec. 31! Please donate what you can, and share! Thank you!

    GOOD NEWS!!

Thanks to all of you and to our followers on our Facebook page, we have now reached 50% of our goal--we're now halfway to our goal!!Several of you have shared our Giving Grid link with your family and friends. If you haven't done that yet, please consider doing so. Many people who love their pets and can't adopt more often want to find a way to help animals.

Also, there have been some donors who have donated in memory of a beloved pet who has passed. We even had a donation by a cat sitter who wanted to honor the memory of a cat who had to cross the rainbow bridge during the time she was with her. And, that same cat's owner also sent in a donation.

All of the donations go towards the care of the precious souls for whom we are privileged to care. We are all-volunteer--no one gets paid. We can't do what we do without your support.

Please give what you can because even a small amount helps. We are looking forward to reaching the 3/4 mark soon. That would be $3750. We know we can do it with your help.

Don't forget to go back to the Grid to see all the new donations. Click on anyone's square to read the many messages we've received, and the pictures of their pets!

We have now added the prior donations, which puts us, at this writing, to about 31% of our goal! Thanks so much to everyone that donated so far. (We couldn't transfer your squares, but we know you're there!)

We LOVE seeing the pictures of your pets!

Hope you viewed our adoptable furbabies shown on the slideshow. If you missed it, feel free to go back to the grid, at www.givinggrid.com/helpforlifeline. Don't forget to share the link with others who can help.

We look forward to getting to the 50% mark soon--can we do it by this weekend?

    Meowy thanks!

We're pleading for your help...

While we are so grateful to our community of supporters for helping us survive this long, we are continuing to struggle. Costs have increased while adoptions have decreased, but we can’t stop saving these precious souls. This year was extra challenging because we had a pregnant mama cat who turned out to be FELV+. We couldn't let her nurse her babies so we had to bottle feed them. They are now 7 months old, in foster care, and even though they are friendly and love dogs, they've not had anyone interested in them! Mama is now at a wonderful sanctuary for FELV+ cats, which accepted a donation from us. Shazi & Lynn still do some TNR, and about 4 months ago a feral pregnant cat they trapped had kittens, one who was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. In spite of his wobbly condition, he hasn't been adopted yet, even though he's sweet, very brave and is receiving physical therapy. See him, Hawthorn, and his sister, Juniper, on the slideshow. As you can see, our work is too important, and the need is great!

If we can get enough people to give us a small amount, we can get through this. Please donate what you can, and share this campaign.

We also know that some of you are struggling too, so if you're not in the position to donate, you can also help by sharing our campaign with others you think might want to help or even better, start your own fundraising campaign by clicking the button above that says “Fundraise for this Campaign.” It’s so simple.

Somehow, we always find a way to make it through for the benefit of those precious souls. Sometimes it almost seems impossible and we look back and wonder how we got by. Then we quickly remember. our miracle is YOU! Thank you!
